The 12th Annual Dallas Food Bank Golf Tournament is Sept. 11.

♦ Tickets now are on sale for Western Oregon home football games. Reserved ticket packages for the Wolves' four home games in 2010 start at $55. All-sports packages include a reserved seat for each home football game and a general admission ticket to every other Western home athletic event and cost $80. Reduced rates are available to WOU faculty and students. For more information, 503-838-8449.

♦ The 12th Annual Dallas Food Bank Golf Tournament will be played Sept. 11 at Cross Creek Golf Course. The event is sponsored by Trinity Lutheran Church and Thrivent Financial Services. Proceeds benefit the Dallas Food Bank. The entry fee for the four-person scramble is $65 per person and includes green fee, barbecue dinner, team photo and range balls.

♦ Registration for Central Youth Sports football is being held Wednesdays from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the CYS office. Grades 3-4 play flag football. Grades 5-6 play tackle football. Practices are held locally, but most games are in Salem. Volunteer coaches are needed. For more information: Stacy Olson, 503-931-1471.

♦ Swimming lessons are being held at Western Oregon's Wolverton Memorial Pool. Several different sessions for swimmers of varying abilities are being offered. The cost is $35 per session. Private lessons are available upon request. For more information: Melissa Ineck, 503-838-8701.
