♦ Lorelei Clarke, a 2003 graduate of Dallas High School, recently completed her second Boston Marathon. The 22-year-old, who now lives in Fort Collins, Colo., completed the 26.2-mile course in 3:47:36. She was the 11,381st finisher overall and was 3,291st among women finishers and 2,352nd in her age division. ♦ Beginning May 5, the office hours of Dallas Kids, Inc. will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The night's festivities begin at 6 p.m. Enshrinees this year are former DHS coaches Gordon Kunke and Kathy Voves, three-sport star Neil Richardson, longtime DHS supporter Joe Hayward Ford and the 1957-58 boys state championship basketball team. The head coach and assistant coach of the year for 2007-2008 also will be honored as well as the boy and girl student-athletes of the year. ♦ The Hershey Track and Field Meet will be held May 18 at Dallas High School's Gallaspy Field. The competition will begin at 2 p.m. The event is open to boys and girls ages 9-14. Local winners qualify for a spot in the state meet in Eugene.
