POLK COUNTY -- Polk Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking sponsorships to help with its sixth year of Outdoor School for sixth-grade students in Polk County.

POLK COUNTY -- Polk Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking sponsorships to help with its sixth year of Outdoor School for sixth-grade students in Polk County.
In spring 2009, 450 students from five school districts in Polk County will participate in the three-day, two-night conservation education program. PSWCD is seeking support in the form of monetary scholarships to help with the program.
Polk SWCD anticipates the number of scholarship requests to increase this school year. For $70, a business or individual can sponsor a qualifying student.
Polk SWCD is a qualified tax-exempt organization and all contributions are considered charitable for tax purposes. All donors will be provided with a tax donation receipt.
For more information: Erin Hostetter, 503-623-9680, Ext. 113. Donations can be sent to: Polk SWCD, Attn: Erin Hostetter, 580 Main St., Suite A, Dallas, OR 97338.
