Robert J. "Junior" Cobine
90th Birthday
Robert J. "Junior" Cobine, a longtime Independence resident, will celebrate his 90th birthday at a gathering for family and friends Sunday, Sept. 12, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1505 Monmouth St., Independence.
Junior was born on Sept. 11, 1920.
A special invitation is made to all the irrigation boys and berry and bean pickers who worked at the Cobine & Cobine Ranch where Junior was known as "boss" to his many workers. Junior was owner of Cobine & Cobine Ranch in Independence.
Enjoy a piece of cake and a time of sharing. No gifts please.
